Job Summary


Under limited supervision responsible for mold inventory and storage, mold repairs, mold cleaning and applying mold release, and mold installation.


Essential Job Functions


  1. Complies with all safety standards
  2. Uses appropriate personal protective equipment
  3. Responsible for mold Inventory control and storage in special mold storage areas.
  4. Perform mold inspections as needed to identify the need for repair.
  5. Repairs molds as needed both on line and in tool repair area using appropriate equipment.
  6. Installation and removal of molds from production stations.
  7. Perform mold installations per the production schedule.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with the operations team.
  9. Maintain an orderly and clean work environment at all times.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Tool Control Supervisor.
  11. Follows all Company Policies and Codes of conduct.




    • Qualifications


      Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent training and/or experience, with focus on machine shop.


      Experience:   1 to <2 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience related to machine shop highly desirable.


      Other skills and abilities required include:


      1. Basic math and reading skills.
      2. Basic computer entry skills.
      3. Ability to work independently or with limited supervision.



  •  Physical/Mental Requirements


    Physical Demands           Heavy work- Lifting of 100 pounds maximum 



    Must be able to work under wet conditions.
