The selected talented leader will partner with other members of the leadership team, growing the profitability of on-line channels through a mix of eCommerce metric optimization. This leader will create marketing and conversion strategies, go-to-market channels, and ensure forecasting and managing supply and demand execution.

In addition to providing strategic vision and operational excellence, the successful candidate will require technical depth and expertise to drive data analytics, order management and inventory control, while retaining day-to-day operating autonomy.


Role and Responsibilities

Essential Role and Responsibilities:


  • Assess and further develop the appropriate infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales and operation function.
  • Develop long term and short-term strategic plans for developing business growth across various categories including utilization of partners and alliances to create an aggressive go-to-market approach.
  • Develop, direct, manage and negotiate customer agreements and participate in closing strategic opportunities to ensure they are delivered according to plan.
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback and recommendation to elevate online strategies.
  • Articulate product needs and guide product development and engineering prioritization.
  • Partner with online platform and marketing teams to bring new programs and promotions to launch.
  • Manage operations, budgets, and resources to deliver profitable growth.
  • Drive alignment with internal stakeholders including but not limited to brand marketing, product marketing and demand generation teams.
  • Responsible for human capital leadership of the group including hiring, performance management, learning and development, compensation, retention, and engagement.
  • Inspire and lead the direct-to-consumer team to achieve ambitious growth goals.  
  • Data driven leader capable of developing analytics, metrics, and processes to drive informed decisions.



Background, Experience & Skills Required:

  • 10+ years building a winning online strategy and operations in consumer technology with an understanding of B2B2C sales channel and marketing
  • Proven success in developing strong relationships and working at the C-level, and should possess the executive “gravitas” and presence to maintain long-term trusted relationships at all levels
  • Strong business, financial and commercial acumen with proven experience in achieving results in defined timeframes with ambitious objectives
  • Strong online, ecommerce, platform, and mobile experience
  • Ability to develop sales and business objectives, make decisions and give strategic direction, and measure both individual/team performance against defined goals and metrics
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with customers, internal peers, employees, and vendors to approve plans, technical requirements, and project recommendations
  • Successful experience building a go-to-market sales and product strategy to support the growth across multiple online channels
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple business development program and online performance objectives
  • Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills; ability to deliver complex business and technical content to an audience with high technical skills and management experience
