Responsibilities

 

        • Gather and maintain data from multiple sources including ERP system and transportation management system.
        • Develop and execute reoccurring reports based on product lines, special process keys, or KPIs as requested by stakeholders.
        • Evaluate existing reporting processes and recommend / establish new systems and / or processes for KPI tracking, measurement, and analysis.
        • Collaborate with various business units in the organization to facilitate and implement new/improved reporting processes or functions.
        • Lead analysis for metrics including KPI’s, fill rate, shipments per person per day (SPPPD), transportation spend and volume, and any other report required.
        • Perform database inquiries and audits to verify system integrity.
        • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
        • Support departments and project teams with various data analysis tasks and requirements.
        • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

 

        • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes, identifying risks and defining solutions quickly
        • Perform gap analysis, document results to remediate issues and develop opportunities for improvement across all aspects of the Global Regulatory reporting model
        • Partner with global stakeholders to complete comprehensive business analysis and requirements documentation
        • Develop end-to-end test cases and strategy in partnership with Global Regulatory Reporting team and business partners
        • Partner with global user base to drive in depth end user testing, gather feedback and incorporate recommendations into future requirements releases
        • Document current and future state models, including standard operation procedures (SOPs)
        • Liaise with technology to ensure the functional design and build requirements meet global reporting requirements
        • Conduct post-mortem analysis after development release implementations to improve future enhancement 
        • Minimum of 2 years business analysis working experience required, preferably in the financial industry
        • Understanding of trade flows across asset classes/products desired
        • Disciplined self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to execute tasks independently
        • Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic, and high pressure environment where creative thinking is required
        • Ability to quickly learn and understand new business concepts
        • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
        • Proactive business process reengineering experience, a tenacity to drive to root cause of issues and leading efforts to define creative solutions
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate issues during analysis, build, testing and post implementation phases
        • Strong business analysis, requirement development, process improvement and operations analysis experience
        • Understanding of project delivery methodologies: Agile & Waterfall
        • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with business partners, technology partners, and SMEs across multiple disciplines and functions
        • Demonstrated experience working on large scale complex projects and initiatives across multiple functions with global resource base
        • Knowledge of Corporate & Investment bank businesses, regulatory environment and financial markets preferred
        • Experience developing processes and reports to fulfill regulatory guidelines and requirements preferred
        • Excellent presentation, formula compilation, and data analytics skills
        • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio required; SharePoint is a plus
        • Experience with databases/data marts preferred
        • Data modeling and end-to-end process mapping techniques preferred

        • Understanding of the finance industry regulatory environment and impact on business strategy desirable, but a keen interest required
        • 3 to 5 years' experience in the Financial Services industry
