We are looking for an experienced Master Planner to develop and execute the operational production planning and inventory management program with alignment to and from the functional areas: supply chain, customer service, procurement, product management and manufacturing. The Planner manages key demand time thresholds and communicates issues regarding the schedule with customer service, supply chain and manufacturing. They are also responsible for capacity planning and generating a daily/weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS.)
This position is ideal for someone who understands the planning/scheduling language and can take the strategic plan and build into a tactical plan. Key performance indicators include internal schedule attainment, customer on-time delivery, and lead time reduction through the implementation of productivity and efficiency gains attained with comprehensive planning and scheduling.
Key attributes of the candidate will include someone who is a methodical thinker. Can bring innovation and creativity to problem solving, while having a high energy and adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
