Porex is looking for a hybrid Marketing Communications Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia with 3+ years of B2B content development experience to join our growing global marketing communications team. This role will manage all promotional content production from initial concept and strategy to measurement of response and reporting.  Our ideal candidate is an excellent writer, communicator, self-starter, and capable of working both independently and in a collaborative multi-functional team environment.  This person has experience in B2B marketing and feels comfortable with technical content used in demand generation, digital marketing, and sales calls. With a passion for creating engaging content across the buyer’s journey, this person will have strategic and tactical responsibility over content production, the content calendar, and content distribution through various paid and organic channels.  This content is the key to our inbound lead generation strategy, building our brand and creating demand for our custom porous polymer solutions.

Responsibilities

Job functions for the Marketing Communications Manager include:

  • Create and optimize the content strategy and plan, managing the content development process from start to finish
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across various applications & technologies to develop messaging that focuses on specific and quantifiable value propositions and proof points, and ensure usage of messaging across applicable content
  • Produce various types of open and gated editorial content that supports our content strategy including – but not limited to – articles, eBooks, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, videos, and infographics – by writing the content and then working with outside designers and producers as needed
  • Create customer-facing sales presentations and tools, and manage the usage and distribution of content to the sales team within our existing sales enablement software, Showpad
  • Develop presentation content for virtual and in-person events such as webinars, lunch & learns, and trade show speaking sessions
  • Manage organic social media calendar using Hootsuite
  • Work with demand generation manager to develop messaging for promotional activities such as emails, advertising, and paid social
  • Develop and track KPIs across channels to optimize content performance using dashboards
  • Ensure copy is consistent across all channels in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for search across all content channels

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

 

Experience: 3+ years experience with B2B marketing communications, technical writing, or related field

 

Skills and abilities include:

  • Minimum 3 years producing and managing quality content for B2B technology or manufacturing company that generated demand
  • Experience engaging with an understanding of complex markets, technology solutions, and wide range of business models
  • Solid foundation in core marketing fundamentals such as messaging and positioning
  • Significant experience with SEO, content design, content best practices, and overall content management
  • Demonstrated experience in effective content distribution through digital channels across the entire buyer’s journey to drive traffic and generate leads
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interdepartmental communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong editing, problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in WordPress or other content management system
  • Experience working in Hootsuite or similar social media management system
  • Experience with Pardot or similar marketing automation system
  • Highly organized and process-driven individual able to multitask and coordinate simultaneous projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.
