Responsibilities

Job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Learn to identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks in a manufacturing environment

  • Design new fixtures, parts, and tooling via SolidWorks CAD software for 3D printing and other fabrication processes
  • Develop products through hands-on optimization of machines, methods, and materials
  • Improve form, fit, and function of prototypes through iterative customer feedback loop
  • Characterize physical, chemical, and functional properties of prototypes to meet customer expectations utilizing test equipment according to instructions and testing objectives

  • Calculate descriptive and analytical statistics, compiling summary of testing results, and utilizing analytical skills based on test data
  • Create reports, presentations, and customer technical documentation

  • Manage your own personal schedule to handle various projects and responsibilities
  • Maintain a healthy curiosity to support independent learning and sharing of ideas
  • Grow into a key member of our dynamic team that supports and challenges one another

Qualifications

Preferred fields of study:  Undergraduate program specializing in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, Polymer Fiber, , Engineering
