Overview

Flow Dry Technology is a leading manufacturer of automotive desiccant components, which are critical to vehicle functionality and safety. In the past two years, we have secured two patents in new applications that give us an opportunity to grow our business.  One of these patented technologies is Opticlear®, a self resetting desiccant designed to prevent moisture collection in headlamps, a major driver of headlamp warranty returns. You can read more about it at https://www.flowdry.com/products/opticlear.

Due to the unique nature of our technology, even though we only received a patent for Opticlear last year, our product has already been specified on the print for every forthcoming launch for both a major passenger car OEM and a major truck OEM. As a result, we seek an experienced Key Account Manager to drive adoption and commercialization of this game changing technology.  The Key Account Sales Manager will work to identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders/program managers to ensure the value proposition of our product and ultimately specify Opticlear into current and future designs.  This will require deep understanding of both the OEM and their suppliers, to drive collaboration and develop new business opportunities.  And while we already have proven results in headlamp performance, the sales manager will be accountable for identifying other applications where OptiClear technology can be leveraged.   This is is an great opportunity for an entreprenurial, competitive sales manager to build an entirely new platform within Flow Dry.

This is a remote working position - our ideal location is in the great Detroit metro area.  #LI-REMOTE

  • Promote Opticlear to Key Stakeholders and Program Managers: Map out key decisionmakers for headlamp programs for which Opticlear is package protected, both at the OEM level and headlamp Tier 1 level. Build relationships with decisionmakers to drive Opticlear’s adoption.
