Overview

The Global Filter Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Sales and will be based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution for Global Filter. They play a pivotal role in Global Filter’s success by serving as a key leader in the business development value stream. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for proactive customer outreach, upgrading materials, executing digital excellence, all with the goal of promoting revenue growth and productivity with inbound lead generation. The Marketing Specialist will have a strong understanding of the Global Filter product portfolio, marketing content creation, strategic marketing concepts, building relationships, data analytics, and the order fulfillment lifecycle.

 

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated quick learner with a strong bias for action. The candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset, strong content creativity skills, sound communication skills, analytical skills, and the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate content and data within our marketing landscape. The person must be able to lead the marketing initiatives with an exceptional attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and a team-player focus to effectively collaborate with all internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a strategy-driven, comprehensive marketing plan on an annual basis
  • Plan and execute outbound paid and non-paid digital campaigns across various platforms
  • Optimize current live digital assets to promote search engine optimization, user experience, and aesthetics
  • Generate continuous content for proactive customer outreach and communication
  • Work with contract marketing partners to ensure alignment of strategy to achieve objectives
  • Recommend and manage all aspects of an ROI-based marketing budget
  • Foster interaction between sales and marketing to ultimately create a revenue-generating plan
  • Manage marketing and commercial systems, including Hubspot, Pardot, SalesForce, and Lead Forensics
  • Analyze marketing performance data from various platforms to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Present trends and findings to sales, commercial, and strategic leaders
  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop key marketing strategies aimed at commercial growth
  • Build webpages, web content, brochures, and promotional materials
  • Facilitate and lead customer survey efforts throughout the survey lifecycle
  • Develop and present a tiered pricing and incentive program for distribution partners
  • Create co-marketing plans with key national and regional distributors
  • Build and maintain various sales tools, including part number cross-reference tools, and filter sizing tools
  • Analyze pricing, margin, sales volume, and market news and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Partner effectively with the Sales, Strategy, HR, and Leadership teams to lead and facilitate marketing efforts

  • Skilled at working within deadlines and prioritizing multiple projects with minimal supervision to meet changing business needs
  • Ability to analyze information and data with a focus on finding and recommending systematic solutions
  • Demonstrated marketing, strategic, and analytical skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be committed to expanding product knowledge and utilizing all available resources while striving for continuous improvement, both professionally and for business success
  • Possess a high level of emotional intelligence, ensuring an exceptional customer and employee experience
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office; specifically, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Working knowledge of teleconference tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or related field is required
  • Two (2) or more years of marketing experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
  • Ideal candidate possesses working knowledge of creative suites, such as Hubspot, Adobe InDesign, SalesForce, Google AdWords, LinkedIn, WordPress, Pardot, and Lead Forensics
  • Must possess advanced computer skills with the ability to extract and analyze data from various sources
  • Willingness to work side-by-side with all levels of the team, including on the production floor
  • Knowledge of Marketing best practices and industry trends
