Overview

Position Summary:

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for the processing of orders received from customers by telephone, fax, e-mail, and portals. The position also requires frequent interaction with all members of the organization, distributors, and end-users in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

The CCR develops and maintains solid customer relationships by handling customer needs with speed, accuracy, and professionalism. The CCR acts as liaison between the client and the production staff to maximize efficiency and exploit sales opportunities as well as handles incoming communications, gathers specifications for quotes, processes orders and follows up with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Provide pricing, availability, quotation, and order processing to customers and channel partners.
  • Interpret contract PO’s and specifications accurately to assist internal departments with projects.
  • Handle incoming calls, web and email queries for sales and pre-sales non-technical questions.
  • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts.
  • Handle client complaints, concerns, and feedback.
  • Ensure accuracy through good communication and continuous follow up.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 5 Years’ experience in B2B field sales or inside sales preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC is preferred, filtration industry a plus.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing/office environment.
  • Excellent listening ability required for effective sales communication.
  • QAD, and/or Sales Force Experience a Plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills via phone and email.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to flag potential issues
  • Exhibits a positive and can-do attitude, quick learner
