Jonell Systems is looking for an Assembler 1 for 2nd Shift.  Excellent Shift Differential compensation.

 

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities

  • Assembly and processing includes sawing of raw tubes to correct cut length, wrapping cores if necessary, assembling cores/wraps into tubes, hot table end capping, hot melt end capping, and packaging.
  • Mechanical set-up of hot tables for final assembly of all elements requiring end caps attached with heat activated adhesives.
  • Identification of molds required for attaching end caps.
  • Monitors appropriate temperature settings for properly curing adhesives.
  • Operate dispenser to obtain adhesives.
  • Use work orders to identify end caps to be used.
  • Set-up and operation of hot melt stations for attaching end caps that are thermally bonded.
  • Use band saw to cut raw tubes to required cut length per job router.
  • Use router to identify proper material and wrap cores before assembly.
  • Use work order to determine appropriate packaging requirements.
  • Package and label finished goods per the customer order or work order.
  • Forward packaged product to staging area for shipping.
  • Performs daily cleaning and maintenance for equipment used.

Skills and Experience: 

Qualifications 

  • Ability to read and follow instructions provided on work orders & routers
  • Ability to use tools and measuring devices provided

 

Physical Demands

  • Long periods of standing on concrete floor
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, twisting, bending, sitting
  • Pushing mobile carts
  • Use required PPE
