Flow Dry is seeking a Job Setter to join our team. The successful candidate must work with the machine operators to change various component parts of the machine and/or change materials to produce a quality part, safely and on time.

• Review and understand all work orders and job instructions.
• Understand and adhere to the safety features of each workstation and ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Understand the use of the equipment, tooling and all components required to complete a setup that produces a quality part.
• Understand all D-1 product requirements and be able to inspect for quality.
• Perform standard run rate calculations and ensure that setups can obtain these rates.
• Complete all paperwork properly and accurately.
• Support 5S practices and lean initiatives.
• Clean area after the set-up is complete.
• Maintain communication with supervisor and machine operators.
• Operate forklift to ensure continuous operations within production.
• Must work well with support departments (i.e. QA, Maint., and Eng.).
• Acts as an Operator when set ups and support activities are not required
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent GED
• Experience performing job setter activities preferred.
• Must have a good mechanical ability.
• Must be able to handle manual labor and climbing ladders.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• One year experience in a manufacturing / production environment.
