Overview

We are a global manufacturing company needing an ERP Accounting Applications Support person to join our busy ERP team.  

Summary:

This position is responsible for helping maintain the QAD ERP Business systems that support plants in multiple countries. 

Your skills will be needed to analyze challenges and work with a small team of ERP members to help solve problems and create effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Help support the accounting functional areas within the QAD ERP system
  • Analyze information, problems, requested changes and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions
  • Become the subject matter expert for the following:
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Accounts Payable
    • General Ledger
    • Cost Accounting
    • Variance Analysis
  • Assist with global and regional QAD application projects
  • Create policies and procedures to support the QAD ERP system
  • Assist users as needed with issues regarding the QAD ERP system, including consultation on system functionality and utilization
  • Perform end-user training as needed
  • Help with new site implementations
  • Help with ERP software upgrades
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with QAD ERP preferred
  • 2+ years of Filtration Group experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP accounting systems
  • Good written and verbal communications skills required
  • Ability to work and thrive in a multitasked, fast paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Approved for domestic and international travel.  Available to travel up to 25%, or more, during projects
  • Professional attitude and able to maintain confidentiality
