The Director of Purchasing and Materials" is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Multisorb’s purchasing activities, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and optimizing inventory levels to achieve cost-effective procurement strategies, while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies. The person in this role leads the entire purchasing department to acquire necessary materials and services at the best possible price and value for the organization.

This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally to access files or office equipment, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office machinery; may need to lift and carry light items up to 10 pounds occasionally. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the building to access other offices, meeting rooms, and equipment in the facility. The person in this position frequently communicates with vendors, and co-workers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
