The Vice President of E-Commerce will spearhead our e-commerce strategy, operations, and innovation, ensuring scalable growth and exceptional customer experiences. This executive leader will drive revenue, profitability, and brand loyalty by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, optimizing e-commerce platforms, and building strategic partnerships. Success in this role will demand visionary leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a collaborative approach to achieve Con-Air’s mission and business objectives.

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive the vision and strategy for the company’s Shopify websites (owned and operated) to optimize customer experience, conversion rates, and overall online growth.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for marketplace growth, including Amazon, leveraging data insights to maximize sales, increase brand visibility, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Own the financial performance of the e-commerce division, including accurate forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Ensure rigorous forecasting processes are in place, with a focus on achieving sales targets, margin goals, and precise collections accuracy for online channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing e-commerce team, ensuring alignment with the broader business objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with product, merchandising, and creative teams to define and execute product strategies for the e-commerce channels, ensuring that product offerings align with market demand, customer preferences, and brand vision.
  • Leverage analytics to assess and adjust strategies across owned websites and third-party marketplaces, ensuring continuous performance improvements and profitable growth.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and market trends.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth, including conversion rate optimization (CRO), customer acquisition, retention strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs such as sales performance, customer lifetime value (CLV), cart abandonment rates, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, and social media campaigns with focus on ROI-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive branding and storytelling across all digital channels.
  • Manage e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality, security, and user experience.
  • Oversee inventory, logistics, and fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations and efficiency goals.
  • Align with the product development team to introduce new offerings and enhance the online catalog.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing e-commerce team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce leadership, with a proven track record of scaling operations and delivering results.
  • Expertise in managing online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Shopify) and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities for engaging with the Con-Air leadership team and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with advanced skills in Excel and project management tools.
