We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team in our dynamic company. The Analyst will provide hands-on execution, administration, and oversight of the business function and will work to improve our strong financial analysis and compliance. The position will be a key member of the accounting and finance team. This position will report to the Senior Director of Accounting and Finance and will be based out of our Kenosha, WI location.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Controller and business leaders to coordinate the planning and reporting processes for the group.
  • Manage the critical aspects of monthly reporting; Establish and drive performance metrics to measure and evaluate progress towards strategic objectives across the organization.
  • Provide analytical support on business performance via data-driven insights, including understanding commercial (e.g., markets, demand, pricing) and operational (e.g., cost, productivity, working capital) dynamics behind variance drivers.
  • Continuously manage improvement of financial planning processes and systems.
  • Participate in and/or lead ad-hoc projects alongside Controller and functional leaders.
  1. Assist in the Development of a Robust Daily Reporting Process:
    • Implement tools and metrics to monitor daily financial / cost and commercial performance and key operational indicators (KPI’s)
    • Work towards continuous improvement of daily management processes to drive improved productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  2. Improve Forecast Accuracy Throughout the Site:
    • Collaborate with Controller, Commercial and Operational teams to contribute to the development of a Profit and Loss (P&L) forecast.
    • Provide analysis to support decision-making based on P&L projections.
    • Enhancing forecasting models and methodologies to improve overall accuracy through cross-functional collaboration with business units to gather data.
    • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and provide timely variance analysis.
  3. Assist in Month-End Financial Close Process and Reporting:
    • Contribute to the month-end financial close process by preparing JE’s and reviewing accounts.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Assist in the analysis of month-end results and variance explanations.
  4. Inventory Variance Improvement and Monitoring:
    • Monitor inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies identified during cycle counting + product consumption variance.
    • Review and maintain BOM to ensure accurate inventory valuation and consumption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of FP&A and Accounting experience, including large company FP&A
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Preferred experience in an operations manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to commute to office location in Kenosha, WI.
