Overview

 

Clear Edge is looking for a Logistics Lead that would be responsible for leading shipments and flow of goods throughout North Americas along with occasional International shipments. The Logistics Lead is responsible for maintaining effective communication with internal and external customers to ensure we are meeting monthly metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate any disturbances to customer delivery dates or outstanding information needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Business Central as a tool to pull reports and understand how changes in production may affect shipping of goods.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and necessary shipment measurements are accurate within internal database.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to customers and resolve any issues or concerns proactively.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Actively contribute to team discussions and participate in providing solutions.
  • Anticipate potential shipping or logistics challenges and take proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate and plan external shipments of resale goods to customers based on sales order provided.
  • Manage Shipping SQDIP boards and report on root cause and action plans for appropriate shipping metrics missed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:     

  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Power BI a plus.

  • Acts with urgency and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in the moment.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move 75 pounds with assistance.
