Purafil is looking for a Human Resources Generalist based in Doraville, GA. This individual will lead all aspects of HR for the organization and support the President and leadership team to create and optimize all facets of our team members workplace lifecycle experience. Responsibilities

The HR Generalist will be responsible for all HR disciplines and people processes with a strong focus on employee relations, enhancing the employee experience through employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent development & retention.

 

  • Run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing, administering pay, benefits, and leave, answering questions/reinforcing company policies and practices.
  • Be a culture champion and a culture advocate for our company.
  • Lead training and other site-specific initiatives/projects.
  • Support enterprise, Business unit and functional goals and objectives (KPI's, Scorecards and individual goals) 
  • Attend and participate in team member coaching sessions, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Continually look to see how things can be done better - come up with options, seek to understand and then make it happen.
  • Performs other duties as need; we all pitch in to help one another out. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of HR Generalist, partner (HRBP) or Specialist experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong technical skills. 
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (ADP is a plus) and talent management systems.
  • Drive for results while also very good at collaboration. 
  • Proven ability to manage vision and purpose. 
  • Incredibly strong communication skills (all-around)
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
