Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing key customer accounts with primary end user accounts in the Mining and Chemical Industry. The Account Manager will increase revenue and profits at new and established accounts by partnering with Business Development Managers, Technical Sales and Operations to ensure that customer needs are being met.

Responsibilities

  • Expands business and customer relationship within key accounts to ensure continued business and increased value proposition within established accounts.
  • Build and manage a sales funnel and accurately forecast business opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and technical capabilities and be able to effectively communicate the advantages to customers.
  • Maintain and communicate regular metrics to ensure progress to revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities and threats by staying aware of industry trends, competitor activities and market developments.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customer service, sales, and operations to ensure we are providing the best service to customers.
  • Maintain customer records within SalesForce to include all necessary customer interaction, customer data and targeted actions.
  • Gather customer feedback to understand their evolving needs and preferences, helping shape our product development and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain Sales Force Funnel size to assure territory sales targets are met.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:    

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales required.
  • Experience in Industrial or Filtration Sales preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook and word required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Sales Force a plus.
