We are seeking an Operations Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing financial data related to manufacturing operations, including variances, developing financial reports, and accounting activities and support to the manufacturing team. In addition, this role will aid in setting standard costs and reviewing inventory transactions.  The role involves monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze and present financial results to site leadership, with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare cost reports and variance reports.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, investigating and reporting on any variances.
  •  Support and analyze financial and operational data for the manufacturing team to enable informed decision-making.
  • Maintain and update cost accounting systems, records, and reports.
  • Conduct standard cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives, including collaboration with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Support/complete month-end and year-end close processes.
  •  Cross Functional Collaboration

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  •  3+ years of experience as a cost accountant, cost or financial analyst within a manufacturing environment.
  •  Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
