Facet is looking for a Sales Director based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

The Sales Director – Americas & APAC is responsible for specific outside sales activities for Facet, as well as oversight and management of a group of commissioned representatives and distributors.  This position will be responsible for achieving the sales revenue plan (budget) as well as helping establish the strategic direction for technologies and vertical market activities. The position will support the Mission to Make the world Safer, Healthier, and more productive® by exhibiting the cultural attributes of Trust, Bias for Action and Entrepreneurial Spirit

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage group of approximately 50 domestic and international distributors and OEMs to maintain existing business, grow revenue with top customers by selling core products and identifying new growth opportunities
  • Direct leadership for team of global outside sales representatives.
  • In conjunction with Inside Sales Leader, Director of Marketing and V.P. of Sales, assess needs in core vertical markets, help determine future products to address shortfalls in offering and work with Product Development to develop and launch new products and technologies.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain selling relationships with key industry stakeholders, OEMs, channel partners relevant to core product offering
  • Through management of the individual sales territories, provide forecasting and pipeline feedback to commercial and operational functional leaders through the Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Communicate directly with key stakeholders on large projects and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain competitive price intelligence to support strategic market pricing
  • Travel domestically and internationally, as needed, up to 50% travel.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within assigned responsibility.
  • Implement and manage commercial activities using the 80|20 Focused Management principles.

  • Other duties as may be required
  • Leadership approach that gathers input, develops people, and utilizes a systematic approach to achieve objectives

  • Expertise in selling products into industrial markets
  • Desire and ability to collaborate well across departments to achieve company objectives
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
  • Results driven with a bias for action
  • Proven track record of successfully increasing territory sales volume
  • 3-5 years minimum proven sales leadership experience in markets with highly technical products – Aviation industry preferred
  • Sales experience in managing channel conflict in a distribution model
  • Experience with CRM – Salesforce preferred
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and solve problems, working comfortably under pressure.
