Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is a critical member of our team supporting and growing sales along with finding solutions to build strong relationships with our customers.  The position will collaborate with the outside sales and customer services teams to ensure consistency in customer relationships, processes, and industry/product knowledge. This role would support customers across our regional business unit to optimize product offerings across our industry.

Responsibilities

  • Curiosity and a passion for continuous learning, demonstrating a proactive approach to acquiring knowledge about products, industry and customer needs.
  • Assess current customer portfolio for additional offerings and opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with current and new customers to ensure a strong partnership.
  • Educates customers about business offerings and solutions that Filtration Group products can provide.
  • Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
  • Qualify leads generated by your research to understand if the opportunity is a good fit for Filtration Groups mission and strategy.
  • Complete the full sales cycle with qualified leads and customers within your assigned customer base. If a customer grows beyond the sales revenue threshold, collaborate with Outside Sales to ensure a successful transition.
  • Utilize software tools such as Salesforce to update, track and execute potential sale opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:    

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a sales, customer facing role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook and Word required.
  • Experience in Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI a plus.
