Jonell Systems provide Filtration Solutions for oil & gas, refining, power, chemical, and petrochemical markets. Customers rely on us to deliver innovative filtration solutions for a wide range of applications ranging from injection water to final product filtration.

Responsibilities:
• Lay out, fit and welding of fabricated, cast and forged components
• Blueprint, sketch and drawing interpretation
• Plans layout to position and align components
• Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment (GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW)
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts
• Verify accuracy of prints and BOM’s
• Accurate reporting of time involved in production order operations
• Maintain clean and organized work area. Strive for 5S
• Promote teamwork within department
• Responsible for notifying supervisor 30 minutes before completion of job
• Other duties may be assigned
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Or one to three months related experience or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills and Abilities:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to calculate figures and amounts such as lengths, fractions, area, circumference, etc.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally work additional hours at the end of the shift, additional days during the payroll week which will be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week
