Responsibilities

This position provides sales support for both original equipment and aftermarket products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to support domestic, international, and inter-company sales efforts and to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.  Employee will support this mission utilizing our Trust, Bias for Action and Entrepreneurial Cultural Attributes.

  • Be familiar with industry, engineering, and refinery specifications to the extent of determining material requirements & cost impact. 
  • Use information to submit price competitive and cost-effective proposals.
  • Ability to develop accurate cost estimates for all aspects of proposal submission.
  • Maintain cost development in readily understandable format.
  • Ability to develop an accurate quotation in an easily understandable format.
  • Maintain chronology and accuracy of quote & project files.
  • Responsible for maintaining margins and profits for industrial vessel sales.
  • Interface with production planning and production drafting as necessary.
  • Understand and work with product structures as related to aftermarket products.
  • Explore and suggest methods of promoting and increasing sales of Facet product to the customer.
  • Interpretation of industry standards, customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Determining the proper equipment size based on the customer’s application and specification.
  • Communication and management of relationships with fabrication vendors.
  • Maintaining good relationships with the Commercial Team, Customer Service Team as well as Engineering Department.
  • Communication with Distributors, Engineering Houses as well as End Users.
  • Responsible for production scheduling to ensure timely delivery and Sales Forecasts are met.
  • Technical support for the Facet Customer Service Team.
  • Technical support for vessel and aftermarket sales in Latin America, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and Malaysia.

Qualifications

Engineering Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience with ASME code pressure vessels; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be knowledgeable of all Facet products.
  • This position requires very strong project management, people, and computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of welding and fabrication of metal, piping, fittings, and materials is desirable.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
