Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure the safety of each warehouse employee through the utilization of harnesses, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.
• Provide problem solving solutions to opportunities that arise with Safety/Quality/Delivery/Inventory/Productivity.
• Drive performance by collaborating with production and customer service departments to achieve 95% on time delivery.
• Supervise the receiving and storing of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies while maintaining a cycle count accuracy of 98%.
• Ensure inspections of incoming material are performed for supplier quality compliance.
• Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• PC Proficient using Microsoft Office packages.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to lift, move, and manage materials, tools, and controls. The employee is regularly required to use paper and a pen, pencil and/or keyboard to read and record data. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, walk, or climb with legs and talk or hear. The employee is consistently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or more up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
