The duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

 

  • Assisting with set-up process of equipment
  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to report problems as well as perform and maintain equipment
  • Keep equipment and work area clean
  • Must be safety conscious, i.e., wear proper PPE at all times
  • Knowledge in quality issues that affect performance of the product
  • Perform and record periodic measurement checks in accordance with quality procedures
  • Spot weld center tubes, rings, and end caps
  • according to specific measurement on prints
  • Inspect newly-spot welded products for faults and/or defects as well as clean product
  • Ability to roll and bar-fold material, blank metal sheets, hand/unhang metal as well as operate the Stolp machine
  • Ability to write routine reports
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to train employees so they can progress through the company’s comprehensive skills matrix successfully
  • Other assembly tasks as assigned by supervisor or plant manager

  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read a standard tape measure.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
