As a member of the Portable Indoor Air Quality Team (PIAQ), the Business Development Manager PIAQ is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, growing, and securing new business opportunities. They develop and implement strategic plans, manage client relationships, and lead teams to achieve company objectives. They will cultivate & grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tracking progress for business development goals in Salesforce.com, exploring new or emerging markets, and driving new product or service development needed to grow the book of business to achieve growth, EBITDA and cash flow targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs is crucial for making informed decisions and developing effective go to market strategies that include but are not limited to: Product Development pipeline, Channel Strategy, Marketing Plan and Market Pricing. 
  • Act as a project manager when new customer filtration concepts are introduce by current or prospective customers to quickly move the project from ideation to sale expeditiously.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors with a focus on cross sell / upsell / price modifications and terms adjustments.

Qualifications

  • BS in Business, Engineering, or similarly related field
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets (preferably Excel)
  • Ability to manage multiple large and small accounts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of air filtration (preferred)
  • Sales experience (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to visit facilities
