We are seeking a motivated engineering student to join our design team as a Co‑op in Piping & Instrumentation (P&ID) Drafting. The role provides hands‑on experience with the creation, revision, and management of P&IDs and wiring diagrams using industry‑standard CAD tools. The successful candidate will learn to interpret existing piping networks, produce “as‑built” documentation, and support engineering change processes.
Education | Currently enrolled in an accredited CAD or Engineering program |
Academic Standing | Minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) |
CAD Experience | Introductory exposure to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar; willingness to learn Plant‑specific tools |
Technical Aptitude | Basic understanding of fluid flow, instrumentation, and electrical concepts (coursework acceptable). |
Communication | Clear written and verbal skills for documenting findings and interacting with engineers. |
Safety Awareness | Ability to follow site safety protocols |
*Preferred but not required:* prior exposure to P&ID symbols, experience with Microsoft Office/SharePoint, or participation in a related student project.
