Position Summary:

 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for account management, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth. This role will be responsible for a portfolio of customers and known opportunities, focusing on account management of current customers along with analyzing current offerings and opportunities for growth within the market. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with Finishing’s objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leads sales opportunities within the assigned market ensuring collaboration with internal resources to bring prospective sales opportunities to successfully close.
  • Must have HUNTER mentality with sales development.
  • Leads and execute proactive customer outreach strategies, including cold prospecting, to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Develop sales strategies to ensure growth within assigned market by understanding customers, product applications and market trends.
  • Identify new market opportunities and assess their potential impact.
  • Build and manage a sales funnel to accurately forecast business opportunities.
  • Monitor and communicate on Sales KPI’s and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customer service, sales, and operations to ensure we provide the best service to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal resources.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within assigned market.
  • Maintain customer and market data within Salesforce to include all necessary customer interaction, customer data, targeted actions, and prospective opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Industrial Filtration or Paint experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industrial distributors, customers and applications preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software, Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite required.
